Well, this TOTALLY protects her vital organs and important muscle groups and the big honkin’ reactor that’s supposed to keep her heart pumping is missing…

WARNING:RANT AHEAD.

this is precisely the sort of thing that bugs me. The art is absolutely gorgeous, with fantastic technical skill and fabulous lighting, and the intentions were good, but it ultimately fails. Why? She had the chance to create a kick ass female,just as suave and BAMF as Tony Stark, just as fantastic enough to win your respect - but no. This is a ‘female’ version, and every one knows that with a female superhero it’s ’ BOOBS OR GTFO’. Not only is this suit highly impractical, with fleshy bits exposed and little protection - but it is degrading to the female form. This beautiful woman is posed very provocatively, in an almost possible position ( for her back) and I honest to god thought at first that she was pregnant from the curvature of her spine. It is all entirely unnecessary - she could be just as interesting and impressive with a full suit and realistic proportions.

Sorry for the rant, and I do love the skill involved, but really, how would she fly above the atmosphere in that and retain her nipples?
